Recorder Mode Functions
Q: Why does the recording stop at about 1 epoch of data?
A:

Go to Settings under the Acquisition tab. The mode checked off should be continuous, not episodic.screen shot

   
Q: Why isn't the video visible in recorder mode?
A: Click on the Mona Lisa icon at the top of the menu bar.screen shot
   
Q: When finishing a TWin recording and exiting the program, why is the following prompt message not received? Would you like to continue this recording on the next session?
A: Under settings in the Acquisition tab, Always terminate on exit should not be checked. Removing the check from the box will prompt the user Would you like to continue this recording on the next session? upon exiting the program.screen shot
   
Q: Why do patient movements show in the incorrect channel? The movements seem to be off by one channel.
A: This usually means that the settings are incorrect. On a Beehive Millennium there are two types of CTE amplifiers, high sampling rate CTE amplifiers (which sample at 800) and older CTE amplifiers (which sample at 400). If this is incorrectly set up in the settings window under CTE/Headbox settings tab, it will cause the channels to shift.screen shot
   
Reviewer Mode Functions
Q: Why won't a word document report be created through TWin? The following error message is received on the Microsoft Word title bar: "Microsoft Visual Basic ambiguous name detected: TmpDDE.
A: Go into Microsoft Word and under the menu bar select Tools. From the drop-down menu choose Macro. From the side menu pick Macros. Under the Macros popup dialogue box select the file TMPDDE and click on the delete button and close out Microsoft Word.screen shot
   
Q: When TWin application opens, the staging status at the bottom of the TWin PSG screen is not visible. Why?
A: Right click on the TimeLine icon on the TWin shortcut bar and choose Expanded CAMPRS - PSG Record and Score and right clicking on it. Select Add this set from database and click OK. To make it the default, after selecting Add this set from database, right click on it again and select Select this event set as default. Note: Close out study and reopen for the changes to take effect.screen shot
   
Q: After Archiving, why isn't it possible to view data from a CD? The following error message is received: Insert another CD.
A: File pointer is pointing to a previous CD within the DataBase Explorer. Change the CD-ROM to the correct one.screen shot
   
Q: Why aren't the changes made while in Recorder visible on the Reviewer?
A: Click on the Properties icon and go to Select Montage tab. Assure that Use Record Montage is checked.screen shot
   
Q: When trying to delete a study from within the Patient Information Explore, why does the following error message appear? File (file path) is still recording. It cannot be moved, copied, or delete. (PEX008) appears.
A: This is due to the file not being completed properly. In order to delete the file from within Patient Explorer, first right click on the study in the Database Explorer and select Terminate Record. This will give the file a status of Completed. Now it is possible to delete the study.screen shot
   
Q: Why is Total Sleep Time (TST) larger than Total Recorded Time (TRT) in a recording?
A: TWin program counts samples to figure out time (200 samples = 1 second). At present, TWin does not support sleep reports for 400 Hz data rate, nor is it recommended that customers use 400 Hz with TS amplifiers, especially for sleep studies.screen shot
   
Q: When creating a split report, why does "0" appear in the diagnostic section while the treatment section is fine?
A: This usually happens when Treatment none is not added at the start of lights out in the study.screen shot

Q: Why isn't the TWin status bar visible at the bottom of the screen?
A: Windows status bar is not on auto hide and always on top. This causes the Task bar to overlap the TWin status bar. Check and see if the status bar is disabled.screen shot
   
Q: Why aren't the Montage channel labels visible? 
A: Pressing the [L] key will show/hide the channel labels.screen shot
   
Q: Why are the notations score marks incorrect on certain channels?
A: Click on the Montage Editor icon and check that signal type is set correctly to the type of data input that is being collected on that channel.screen shot
