Two versions
of this high performance AC amplifier feature high gain, adjustable
filters, low noise and an output which is easily interfaced with
peripheral devices such as computers, oscilloscopes and recorders.
All models require an external power
supply.
For low impedance
electrodes, connection may be made directly to the P511 via the
standard input cable supplied. An optional high
impedance probe provides an excellent interface for high impedance
microelectrodes.
All models are
CSA/UL listed for medical device safety.

MODELS
P511 & CP511
|
|
The
Model P511 has been the neurophysiologists' workhorse
for extracellular recordings from nerve and muscle for years. EMG,
EEG, ECG and ERG are just a few of the types of signals that can
be recorded using the P511. The P511 is packaged as a 19" rackmountable
amplifier, 1.75" high.
The
CP511
shares all of the superior features with the P511, but is packaged
for portable bench-top use. The unit is enclosed in a compact, rugged
all-metal cabinet that is easy to stack vertically or horizontally.
Optional rackmount hardware allows two units to be mounted side-by-side
in a standard 19" rack while using only 3.5" of vertical space.
An optional,
very low leakage input cable is available for additional safety
in high-risk environments. The cable features less than 3 µA leakage
current at 120 VAC, 60 Hz (for use with P511 and CP511 only).

Model HZP
The HZP High Impedance Probe is intended to provide very high
input impedance when interfacing microelectrodes and other
high impedance devices to Grass amplifiers. It is generally
intended for extracellular microelectrode recording applications,
but can be used for interfacing other high impedance devices.
The unit also incorporates a switching circuit that provides
selection of either recording or stimulating through the same
electrode.
