The
Model P511 single-channel amplifier has been the neurophysiologists'
workhorse for extracellular recordings from nerve and muscle for
years. EMG, EEG, ECG and ERG are just a few of the types of signals
that can be recorded using the P511.
The
QP511
shares most of the P511 superior features and is packaged for portable
bench-top use. It has 4 independent channels and is enclosed in
a compact, rugged all-metal cabinet. Optional rackmount hardware
allows mounting in a standard 19" rack using only 5.25" of vertical
space. The QP511 must be operated from the companion ±12 VDC Grass
Power Supply (included).
For low impedance
electrodes, connection may be made directly to the QP511 via the
standard input cable supplied. Optional high impedance
probe provides an excellent interface for high impedance microelectrodes.

Model HZP
The HZP High Impedance Probe is intended to provide very high
input impedance when interfacing microelectrodes and other
high impedance devices to Grass amplifiers. It is generally
intended for extracellular microelectrode recording applications,
but can be used for interfacing other high impedance devices.
The unit also incorporates a switching circuit that provides
selection of either recording or stimulating through the same
electrode.
