Designed for in-home and mobile video EEG use, the Beehive Horizon Portable is housed in a compact and rugged carry case. | AURA®
AMPLIFIER SYSTEM |
| Grass Technologies amplifiers are world-renowned in the field of neurophysiology for their quality, reliability, simplicity, and serviceability. The amplifier system provides isolation, amplification, filtering, and digitization. |
The compact system features:
• 32-channel AURA Amplifier
• Built-in battery for patient mobility
• Patient Event pushbutton
• Pulse Oximeter for SaO2 and Pulse Rate (optional)
• Photic Stimulator (optional)

| AURA amplifier system has a front-end sampling rate of 400 Hz (record 200 or 400 Hz, user definable). The electrode input jack box provides 32 AC inputs, 2 reference inputs and 2 ground inputs. The redundant references and grounds provide reliability and signal integrity during long-term monitoring procedures. The 32-channel system records data directly to the PC or can also be disconnected for temporary untethered recordings. When the patient cable is disconnected, AURA will automatically switch and record the EEG data to a CompactFlash (CF) memory card. If there is an immediate need to download and review the data stored on the CompactFlash memory card, the CF card can be removed from AURA and the data can be downloaded quickly via a USB CompactFlash Reader. |
Software & Options:
Easy-to-use Grass Technologies TWin® LTM software
is provided along with Database Explorer, and TWinLOOK®
software. SzAC® Automatic Spike Seizure Analysis
software for proven on-line event recognition is also included. Intuitive
editing tools streamline the process of identifying EEG/Video events for
further analysis and archiving. Grass Technologies Panorama®
Digital Video/Audio recording system, is included.
