TWin Neurotrac-III Neuromonitoring Software is designed for computing and displaying long-term trends of EEG features during continuous EEG monitoring in the ICU, NICU, OR or Seizure Monitoring units. The software module can be
used with acquisition systems configured with any of
Grass Technologies’ amplifiers. The number of EEG channels recorded is dependent on the amplifiers used, the electrodes applied to the patient, and the selected montage. Systems configured with the Neuromonitoring software can also be used for routine EEG, LTM and PSG by adding Photic Stimulators, Digital Video options, SzAC online seizure/spike detection, Auto-Sleep Analysis and FASS.

TWin Neurotrac-III Neuromonitoring Software can compute, display, trend and record the following:
Amplitude-Integrated EEG Trends (aEEG)
Frequency Bands Power or Total Power
Frequency Band Indices (%Alpha, %Delta, etc.)
User-definable Frequency Band Ratios
Spectral Edge Frequency with user definable level
Peak, Mean or Median Frequency
Density Spectral Arrays (DSA)
Burst-Suppression Pattern detection and trending:
  Burst Count (# per minute)
  Inter-burst interval
  Suppression Index (% per minute)
EKG trends
Online Recording features:
User-selectable trends time-scale:
a few minutes up to 24 hours
Real-time numerical values displayed for each trend with large font for viewing from a distance
Unlimited LOOK-BACK while recording: review trends and the corresponding EEG synchronized with the cursor placement on the trend
User-defined thresholds and display limits
Automatic return to real-time scrolling of both trends and EEG if the display is accidentally left in look-back mode
Settings for each trend are saved and used for every new study until changed by the user
Remote real-time viewing over the network with TWin Monitor II (nurses’ station; EEG lab; doctor’s offices, etc.)
Up to a total of 16 trends can be computed and displayed online: the user selects the EEG channels to analyze and which features to trend
The EEG and Neuromonitoring windows can be tiled horizontally or vertically for optimal viewing of both
Review features:
Trend files computed online are stored with the EEG data and are available for immediate viewing during review of studies
During review, the trends are displayed “as recorded”
Compute new trends for the same or different EEG channel(s)
Click on the trend to display the corresponding EEG
Trend data can be exported to ASCII for analysis with external programs
