This exciting
video package uses the latest Grass MPEG4-based video compression.
Grass digital video compression permits the highest resolution with
the lowest storage. Grass uses less hard drive space at 640 x 480
resolution than competitors at comparable resolution.
The latest digital video compression algorithms are utilized, which
are compression techniques optimized for smooth network functionality.
Grass uses an “automatic self-adjusting” variable data
rate, depending on the amount of motion in the picture, without
sacrificing quality.
Grass excels over the competition in resolution and file size. Our
capture technique results in extraordinarily small overall digital
video/audio file sizes. The benefit is that these small files require
lower storage space and result in faster data transfer.
Multiple video recording is another major feature of the system.
By recording from multiple cameras simultaneously, view of the patient
is never blocked, again ensuring that nothing is obscured. Waveform
overlay, video resizing, virtual pan and zoom capabilities apply
to the multiple camera video setup as well and video storage rates
remain amazingly low.
