Digital Recording System

Eight-channel signal conditioning utilizing the Models P122 and P511 research-grade amplifiers combined with PolyVIEW® digital data acquisition provides an extremely powerful and flexible recording system. Record several pressures, ECG, force and scroll the waveforms on a high-resolution color monitor in real-time. The versatile P122 interfaces with various pressure transducers for precise recordings of arterial, venous and systemic pressures. Shown in this illustration are the industry-standard Model P23XL transducers. For those applications requiring greater signal fidelity, catheter-tipped pressure transducers can easily be interfaced to the P122.

The P511 amplifier features multiple low and high pass filter selections, low noise, and high input impedance making it especially suited for many surface and implanted electrodes. The P122, P511 and companion medical-grade power supply are housed in an attractive equipment cabinet.

Used with PolyVIEW, scrolling waveforms emulating a chart paper recorder are viewed on the high-resolution video monitor and stored to disk. Measures of systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure in calibrated units are easily recorded. ECG with heart rate, and blood flow via electromagnetic or Doppler flowmeters are also easily interfaced to PolyVIEW. Using the Trend view, compress the data to view the min, max and mean values of part or the entire recorded file, and make precise waveform measurements including RR Interval, HR, R wave amplitude, ST Interval, QRS width, PR Interval, PRQ Interval, QT Interval and QR Interval with the two cursors in the Zoom/Filter mode. Print pages of selected data and save important recorded data to new files, if desired.
