Basic Neurophysiological System Designed to teach the basics of neurophysiology, this economical system utilizes the compact Model P55 AC preamplifier, Model SD9 Stimulator and either an oscilloscope or PolyVIEW® for displaying and analyzing bioelectric signals in real time. The P55 Preamplifier features amplification up to 10,000, a wide selection of both high and low pass filters, a built-in precise calibrator, 200 megohms input impedance, and replaceable 9-volt batteries providing over 150 hours of life. The SD9 Stimulator features a wide range of timing parameters, built-in stimulus isolation, and single, repetitive and twin pulse modes. The twin pulse mode, in conjunction with the delay parameter, simplifies refractory studies of nerve and muscle. TTL compatible synchronous inputs and outputs and a marker output for chart recorders simplifies connection to oscilloscopes and various recording systems. The P55 Preamplifier output connects to PolyVIEW, the Grass Windows®-based digital data acquisition package. PolyVIEW provides turn-key functionality, scrolling display, waveform cursor measurements, real-time annotation, variable sample rates, and powerful analysis functions. PolySCOPE can capture up to 4 channels of data with 20 kHz sampling, features onscreen cursors for amplitude and time measurements, and powerful math functions including signal averaging. Record spontaneous EMG, EEG, ECG and CAP using powerful PolyVIEW and PolySCOPE functions. DSP functions can be used to obtain integrated EMG, EEG spectral trends, and FFTs. |
