The Dash 18 recorder is a compact, 18-channel data acquisition recorder ideal for medical research applications. Featuring a 15.4-inch, color display, 18 Gbyte hard drive and optional thermal array recorder, the Dash 18 is perfect for viewing real-time waveform data, capturing data to memory or printing data in real-time. Audio and video capture capability make it versatile enough to handle almost any application you have. Combining Grass signal conditioners and the Dash 18 recorder can configure very powerful and unique biomedical data acquisition systems. Physiological data including ECG, EEG, EOG, EMG, respiration, temperature, isometric tension and pressures are some of the signals easily recorded with such combinations. The Dash 18 features a built-in, 15.4-inch color monitor that is ideal for viewing data in real-time. Signals may be displayed in real-time on the monitor, allowing instant access to important data. For easier interpretation of data, each channel can be displayed in a different color and numeric data values can be displayed in real-time. Limits can be set for each channel, and waveforms will automatically change color when these levels are exceeded. The internal 18 Gbyte hard drive in the Dash 18 allows an entire experiment to be saved to memory for later reviewing on the display. Waveform analysis can be done on the screen, and important data can be printed to the chart. Once data has been captured to memory, the Dash 18 monitor really goes to work for you. To quickly look at the data files, captured data may be displayed on the screen. On screen cursors provide timing and amplitude measurements, while the zoom utility gives detail on important data. Audio and video data can be played back with waveform data, providing a complete reproduction of a test or experiment. Install the optional 11-inch wide chart recorder to the Dash 18 to print the clearest, most accurate charts available. With its revolutionary thermal array printing, the Dash 18 prints waveforms, grids and interchannel annotation at the same time. Signals can be printed in any format, from individual to overlap to completely custom. The Dash 18 offers a wide selection of voltage input ranges, allowing it to connect to virtually any Grass or other amplifier system. Each channel has separate A/D converters sampling at 100 kHz, allowing the Dash 18 to accurately reproduce any signal from DC to 12 kHz. Signals may be printed in real-time, displayed on the monitor and stored to memory. The Dash 18 also makes bringing data to the PC a snap. For small data files, simply copy data from memory to the built-in 250 Megabyte Zip drive and carry it to a PC. For direct connection, the Dash 18 has an Ethernet port for quickly transferring data. With our companion Windows-based Dash 18 Offline software, getting data in a PC has never been easier. |
