Gamma recorder
is a simple yet powerful function for monitoring biomedical signals
in real-time and capturing the signals reliably to disk. In this
mode, Gamma emulates a traditional chart recorder scrolling the
signals across the screen. Simulated chart speeds are available
and the display sensitivities are easily changed on a channel by
channel basis without altering the stored data. Gamma also supports
additional important real-time functions including event marking,
precise calibration, user scaling, and digital filtering.
Features
include:
Ready to run data acquisition of up to 36 channels
Acquire data in calibrated units (µV, mV, mmHg, etc.) for easy
measurements and signal statistics
Sampling rate from 1 to 1000 samples/second/channel
Continuous real-time display of data
Real-time "look back" to beginning of record
Pre-programmed and "on-the-fly" annotations
Real-time digital filtering
User-defined, fully selectable display views

Gamma provides
two methods of utilizing the on-screen cursors for making signal
measurements. The cursors can be manually positioned by dragging
or by a point-and-click method. Both methods allow Plug-ins to be
accessed and will provide information about single-channel parameters
including amplitudes, times, latencies, frequency and more complex
tools including FFTs.
Features:
Ready to run analysis tools for measuring physiological signals
Plug-ins such as FFT Spectral analysis, Zoom and Trend
Export data to ASCII format for use in other applications
Supports EDF (European Data Format) import/export
Optional application specific Plug-ins available
Gamma can accommodate
new special purpose
Plug-ins allowing users to customize data analysis. This advanced
research tool allows custom analysis functionality to be added to
the review program.

FILE NAVIGATION AND SCORING |
|
Gamma reviewer
is a powerful software module designed to provide record review
similar to paging through traditional chart recordings page by page.
The digital recording process, however, allows much greater flexibility
by offering time base expansion/contraction, digital filtering,
display gain changes, and powerful, GoTo functions. Gamma provides
scoring tools for marking recorded events with and without duration.
A cessation of breathing on a respiratory flow channel is an example
of an event with duration.
Features:
Keyboard and mouse file navigation
Sleep staging at 30 second epochs using numeric keypad is available
On-screen cursors for measurements and data selection
Channel buttons provide access to display gain, digital filters,
and other trace properties
Events list window for viewing marked events including a GoTo
for quick file navigation to any data file event
Events chart provides scatter plot of marked events
Comments feature saves important information with the recording
Easy-to-read status indicators for page #, time, view settings
File compatibility with Rodent Sleep Stager

| AUTO-ANALYSIS/REPORT
GENERATOR OPTIONS |
|
The Auto-Analysis/Report
Generator options are built-in features intended for human sleep
scoring. The Auto-Analysis module includes a standard set of algorithms
with adjustable settings for the detection of respiratory events,
desaturations, EMG bursts, Snoring events, and heart rate analysis.
The Report Generator
generates a comprehensive summary of the human sleep-wake cycle
including a hypnogram, and detailed information about the recording
montage, subject demographics, and events that occurred during the
recording session. Exportation to Excel, databases, and ASCII is
included.
