zRIP™
effort system provides the accuracy of traditional Respiratory Inductance
Plethysmography (RIP) technology with the convenience of a washable,
reusable effort belt.
The zRIP is designed with one-size-fits-all belts in either pediatric
or adult patient sizes. An amplifier module plugs directly into the
AC input of any headbox without the need for additional software.
RIP technology was traditionally expensive to use and required calibration,
but this new zRIP system is as affordable and easy to use as standard
piezo technology. A true effort solution, zRIP is simple to apply
and provides a reliable effort signal that eliminates the problems
of effort signal loss and false paradoxical signals.
The zRIP module is available in a two or three channel model. The
three channel model includes a summing channel that can be used to
approximate flow and requires no calibration. |
