Permit simultaneous monitoring of up to eight baths giving researchers the option of using different bath sizes in the same unit. Radnoti Glass Technology, a producer of fine glass instruments for over 25 years, is used in these systems. The baths are mounted with adjustable ring clamps to stainless steel posts and to a sturdy base. All baths are supplied with glass hook tissue supports and removable oxygen disperser tubes with Teflon® needle valves for accurate controllable gas adjustment.

Grass FT03 Force Transducers, a laboratory standard for over 50 years, combined with the new compact, highly stable P11T Amplifier provides reliable drift-free recordings via the analog output. Connection to various display devices including chart recorders and data acquisition systems including PolyVIEW16.

Electrical stimulation is easily achieved by the addition of the Grass Model S48, Model S88 or Model S88X Stimulators and suitable stimulating electrodes.

The stimulators are suitable for field stimulation of one or two baths. For field stimulation of up to eight baths, the S48 or S88 stimulator combined with the optional SS2 Stimu-Splitter provides up to 1 ampere of current/bath.

The new Channel Expansion Module expands the capability of the S88X to provide stimulation for up to 4 tissue baths. The CEM expands the S88X by providing a means of connecting a single S88X stimulator output channel (S1 or S2) to two sites.

Several electrode types, including straight, zig-zag, and spiral are available for use with 10 ml and larger baths. Special baths of 2, 5, and 10 ml capacity for very small tissue samples, with built-in electrodes are also available.
